I’m proud to announce that I am running for re-election to the Hawthorne City Council on November 3, 2026.
For more than three decades, I have dedicated my time and service to promoting public safety, education, community development, economic opportunity, and social equity in the City of Hawthorne. I believe that when we invest in every part of our community, we build a stronger and more vibrant future for generations to come.
For the past eight years, I have had the honor of serving as a Hawthorne City Councilmember. During that time, I have advocated for new businesses that create good-paying jobs, a stronger middle class, workforce housing and homeownership opportunities, programs addressing homelessness, smart parking solutions, quality education, and improvements in public safety through innovative technology.
My experience as a community organizer, educator, counselor, volunteer, and business executive has given me a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing our city. I want to continue working with residents, businesses, community organizations, and city leaders to bring new resources and opportunities to Hawthorne.
